Just in case you've forgotten the words, here they are, demonstrating that every bit of our liturgical life can't help but be permeated by the Resurrection! And if you don't know the tune for the antiphon, hop over to YouTube and learn it there.
Say it in English. Say it in Latin. Six in the morning, Noon, and Six in the evening. And remember, once a day is better than not at all!

While most people think of the upcoming April 15th as "Tax Day," Cantorae St. Augustine is thinking "Vespers."

This question in St. John's account of the miracle of loaves and fishes has probably been repeated thousands of times in the history of the Church, indeed in the history of the human race.
I heard this reading at the Musica Sacra Florida Conference last weekend at Ave Maria University. And it resonated with me in a particularly heartening way. We were a handful at that conference, but a good handful nonetheless. Many of us have small scholas or choirs in a sea of praise and worship music, parishioners who demand upbeat tunes, and clergy who aren't sure that the music we love wasn't stamped out 40 years ago.
But has it not always been so in the past and is now in other artistic disciplines? The figurative artist surrounded by Jackson Pollack wanna-bes, the architect whose designs don't look like inverted cupcakes, the skilled craftsperson who eschews the "ruptured-goat" school of fiber art?
But we persist. And we know from the example of the Gospels that the Lord will give all that is needed - and more - to those who trust him to use their talents, be they sacred or secular.
