Chant Saturation and Good Company

Happily soaking in Gregorian chant, it only seems appropriately to gloat a tiny bit.  We have a wonderful group assembled at the Chant Institute here at St. Joseph's College.  And it's a splendid range of ages and backgrounds.  Not all church musicians.  Not all crabby late-middle-aged burnouts from the liturgical wars.  Some of us are older; many are younger.  And the enthusiasm for the music greases the wheels for conversations over college-type food. 

A special treat for me is spending time with the redoubtable Fr. Jeffrey Keyes of The New Gasparian.
Ah, orthodoxy, wit, and an excellent singing voice with good musical taste.  What more could you want in a priest?  So while we're busy singing, you could head over to his blog and learn more about St. Gaspar.  Or you can just pine and wish you were here.
